User Group Meeting Information

Please join us on Tuesday, November 8th and Wednesday, November 9th, 2011 for the next DEFORM User Group Meeting. We will be holding the UGM at the Bridgewater Banquet & Conference Center in Powell, Ohio.  For your information, enclosed are the preliminary agenda, UGM registration form and hotel information for this meeting.

This meeting is open to all active DEFORM licensees (excluding educational users).

This year marks the 20th anniversary of SFTC. To celebrate this milestone, we are honored to have a distinguished group of keynote speakers, including:

  • Prof. Taylan Altan – Ohio State University
  • Dr. Lee Semiatin – US Air Force Material Laboratory
  • Prof. Soo-Ik Oh – Seoul National University

SFTC would not have become the world leader in process simulation without the input and support of its users. You are invited to present how you have participated in the growth of SFTC or how DEFORM has influenced your business or personal development. A special gift will be provided to each presenter as a token of our appreciation.

At the meeting, users will have the opportunity to exchange their experiences in using the DEFORM system. Your present and future needs can be expressed to SFTC in a comfortable, casual setting. A Q&A session is also planned, so please feel free to submit questions on your registration form.

We will have dinner on Tuesday evening, November 8th. To confirm your reservation for dinner, check the “I / We plan to attend” box on your registration form and return to SFTC or you can register on-line in the User’s Area here at http://www.deform.com.

In addition to the User Group Meeting, we will conduct DEFORM Advanced Training at the SFTC office on Wednesday afternoon (1:30 – 5 pm) and Thursday, November 10th (8 am – 12 noon).

Once again, we are looking forward to an informative and productive meeting. We welcome your suggestions for additional topics of interest for this or future meetings. Please contact us with your ideas.

Sincerely,
Juipeng Tang, Ph.D.
President
